• JD: That's exactly what I'm talking about! Going to Palestine, not played live since 1994 [ed: 2010, but whatever], every word stuck here. Only One Way, tracked it just back in January, blanking on the second verse every night. [laughter]
  Peter: It's just - it's had less time to sit in your brain and solidify.
  JD: And as the front row crew can attest, some nights I just try to ad lib, but it's just - it's got rhymes, you know. [laughter] I can freestyle a little, on a good day. I ate my Wheaties but I don't...When you just sing the same verse again, you're not fooling anybody here. They were all right there when you sang it before! And then, if you don't say something like that, people go, why'd he choose to sing the same verse twice? [ed: guilty as charged.] I'll clue you in: couldn't remember the other one. (Only One Way)
